James Leonard Thomas is Today’s Repeat Offender

 

The Albuquerque Police Department has named James Leonard Thoma as today’s Repeat offender of the Day. Thomas has 28 prior arrests and was charged today in Metropolitan Court with Child Abuse with great bodily harm.

 

As a part of the repeat offender of the day program, the Albuquerque Police Department is placing Thomas’s picture on its Facebook page and web site as well as posting a link on the department’s Twitter account. The repeat offender of the day program was started in June 2012 by Mayor Richard J. Berry and Police Chief Raymond Schultz in an attempt to get a meaningful Three Strikes Law Passed.
